Hello, hello. I’m Isaiah, a mixed race black bisexual trans man, and my partner is a bisexual chicana. We’re being forced to move out very last minute within the month along with our cat and could really use some help so we don’t end up straight up homeless soon.
My girlfriend’s an artist (some of her art shown above, also find her @babyeared) and opening up commissions so you can help us out that way. Also, I made an email if you feel like sending us Lyft gift cards, since we can’t afford our own car and a lot of our money goes to getting back and forth to our jobs.
As of now – February 24th, 2022 – we have just enough for the security deposit and first month’s rent, but we really need help so we have enough for groceries, cat food and litter, trying to get furniture, and getting back and forth to work.
Here’s a link to my girlfriend’s commission page: artistsnclients.
And the email if you feel like sending us Lyft cash to help us out that way: familyhelp77@gmail.com
If anyone could please help us out, every little thing is appreciated. Thank you very much in advance for helping out two bisexuals of color and their furry son. Have a good day yall.
2/28/2022 – so we only have a week to get out and we’re still struggling, please spread this around and help any way you can

🤢 okay i don’t want to see @/fleetnaturals on my dash again yall
so yeah there were the weird posts about bisexuals, but I also just found out along w many other black ppl that he’s not black lol (he is white & Asian). he’s successfully digital blackfacing. This doesn’t mean he’s explicitly claiming to be black, it means he’s deliberately creating an image that gives him ambiguity & creates room for him in our spaces & conversations.
He is constantly making invasive & authoritative posts about black ppl our culture & our issues, constantly using AAVE, constantly speaking abt his own identity in vague terms including literally using “we” when talking abt black ppl, and a quick “black” search & scroll on his blog will show you a lot of really inappropriate jokes & comments about black men specifically and many of them are sexual
I didn’t look a lot bc it was really uncomfortable but I’m gonna leave some screenshots of some of this behavior under the cut. Please block & do not rb anymore of his posts abt black culture (like this one, which also shows him aligning himself with black ppl through vague self-identification), I definitely was fooled into thinking him & his posts were legitimate resources on black issues and I’m deeply uncomfortable 💙 yes you can rb this, I encourage it. Cw for antiblack sexual violence & general antiblackness under the cut.

Southern Comfort (2001)
A beautiful scene featuring transgender man Robert Eades and his transgender girlfriend Lola.
[TRANSCRIPT:
Robert: – and now she’s coming out, full blown… she is something else.
Lola: Oh, please, stop it.
Robert: What? I’m just telling her how wonderful you are, and how beautiful, and how organised, and…
Lola: Actually, you know, I really should put all of this on tape, you know? For when I’m not feeling so great.
Robert: Sweetheart, it is on tape.
[BOTH LAUGH]
Robert: Just in the last couple of months now, it’s come on real strong, but she just really blushes! I can get her to blush all the way from head to toe. See? And she can’t deal with it! She’s never blushed like that before!
Lola: [SIGHS]
[BOTH LAUGH]
Robert: All my life, I’ve been looking for the perfect woman… and all this time, she’s been right there in front of me, and I didn’t even realise it, ‘cause I never thought I’d have a chance with her.
Lola: Why? You’re like… completely loveable.
Robert: To be loved by you, that’s… that’s…
Lola: I had no notion, to think that we would have this little fling.
Robert: That’s what I feel - we have this nice friendship, we can’t go out, we have fun together, we got no entanglements and stuff and then - bam! Just… all of a sudden, next thing I know, we’re in love with each other and we can’t stop it.

being queer and seeing historical queer love is like a punch to the gut in a good way every time
this influx of lgbt people wanting to accept everything as 'valid' without questioning anything out of fear of being seen as bigoted has not gone well to say the least
I also believe it's a result of this dumb idea that you need a label and a flag for everything. "I'm a bi lesbian bc I'm a lesbian but sometimes I'm attracted to men" putting aside the idea that you might just be bi... just say you're questioning. just call yourself gay if no specific label applies, or queer if that's cool with you, or just nothing at all because you do not need a label. a bi elder being seen as a lesbian for being with women back in their day is not the same person as you, early 20s, eating up shit you find on random carrds on the internet
this absolutely goes for lesbians struggling with comphet too and I don't even need to explain why trying to make comphet into an actual label is not a good thing
